Terms of Use

These terms apply to apps published by 子熊 (XBear Design) on the App Store and other app marketplaces, including CatEar, Miaohan, WonderFish, PicToGIF, and VideoToPictureExtractor. If an app has its own terms or notices, those terms on the app page or store listing control for that app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, resell, or distribute the app.

Apps downloaded from Apple’s App Store are also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. If these terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA, Apple’s Standard EULA controls for apps downloaded from the App Store.

2. Purchases and refunds

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the apps for unlawful purposes, interfere with or damage the apps or their servers, bypass payment or security mechanisms, or infringe the rights of others.

4. Content and intellectual property

The interfaces, icons, text, audio, models, and other content of the apps belong to us or the respective rights holders. They may not be used for commercial purposes without permission.

5. Disclaimer

The hearing tests and training content in CatEar are for education and self-training only and are not medical diagnosis or treatment advice. If you have a hearing-health concern, consult a qualified professional. The other apps are provided “as is”; we work to keep them available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the apps.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated terms will be posted on this page with an effective date. Continuing to use the apps means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring the matter before a court with jurisdiction.
