Website Privacy & Analytics
This page explains how 子熊 (XBear Design, “we”) uses analytics on xbeardesign.work. For information collected by the apps themselves, see each app’s privacy policy.
1. What we measure
This site uses a self-hosted, open-source GoatCounter service and records the following de-identified visit data:
- the page path and page title visited;
- the referring page, if you arrived from another page or site;
- browser and operating-system type (parsed from the User-Agent; the full User-Agent is not stored);
- interface language and screen width;
- the country/region resolved from your IP in memory (only the country code is stored).
2. What we do not measure
- We do not set cookies, use advertising identifiers, track you across sites, or build user profiles.
- We do not write raw IP addresses to the database or disk. The IP is held in memory only to de-duplicate visits within an 8-hour session, then discarded.
- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, accounts, payment information, or anything you type into the site.
- We do not sell analytics data or provide it to advertisers.
3. Purpose and retention
The data is used only to understand which pages are visited, improve content and performance, and find errors. Detailed visit data is retained for 365 days and then deleted automatically by the analytics service.
To keep the server secure and diagnose faults, Nginx records standard access logs (IP, User-Agent, time, request path), which are normally kept for 14 days by system log rotation. Those logs are not used for visit analytics or marketing.
4. How to turn analytics off
You can disable analytics on this site at any time by opening xbeardesign.work/en/#toggle-goatcounter; the page will confirm that tracking is disabled. The setting is stored locally in your browser and affects only that browser; clearing site data restores the default.
You may also use private browsing, content blockers, or Do Not Track tools. No part of the site depends on analytics, so turning it off does not affect browsing.
5. Third parties
This site loads no third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs. The server and network are provided by Tencent Cloud, which may process necessary network and security logs under its own policies. Beyond that, we do not provide analytics data to other third parties except where required by law.
6. Your rights
You can contact us to ask about, correct, or delete information relating to you, or to withdraw consent to analytics. Because the data is de-identified, we may not be able to locate an individual in aggregate records. Contact: 651333646@qq.com.
7. Changes
If our analytics practices or this notice change materially, we will update this page and show a new effective date.
