VideoToPictureExtractor Privacy Policy
VideoToPictureExtractor (the “App”) is a macOS app that extracts frames from videos and exports them as images, entirely on your device. This policy explains how the App handles information.
1. Information we process
- Videos you select, extracted frames, and export settings are processed only on your Mac.
- The App creates no account and collects no name, email address, device identifier, or usage behavior.
- The App contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.
2. How your files are handled
- File access is limited to the videos you explicitly choose through the file picker or drag-and-drop, and to the export location you select.
- Frame extraction and export happen locally; videos and images are never uploaded.
- The App does not retain copies of your files after you close it, apart from the exported files you choose to keep.
3. Permissions
The App requests only the access needed for the files and export folder you choose. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or location permissions.
4. Third-party services
No third-party services receive your data. The App uses only Apple system frameworks for on-device processing.
5. Data sharing and sale
We do not share, sell, or rent your information.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the version and effective date on this page and note material changes in the App’s release notes.
